Description
Hi DesignCombo team and @xo-o ,
We’re evaluating your React video editor UI/SDK for a commercial product (an AI anime/video creation SaaS). Before we proceed, we want to make sure we’re fully compliant.
I couldn’t find a definitive license in the GitHub repo or on the pricing page:
Could you please confirm the following and advise whether we should purchase a license (and which tier)?
-
Correct tier for our use case
Which tier (Free vs Pro vs Advanced) covers our use case: a commercial, multi-tenant SaaS where end users edit and export videos in the browser, and where we ship client-side JS as part of our app? -
Official license / EULA location
Where can we find the official license/EULA for each tier? (A link or PDF would be perfect.) -
Rights included
- Commercial use
- Modification and customization
- Distribution (including bundling/shipping client-side code)
- Number of apps/seats
- Whether the license is perpetual or subscription-based
-
Updates & support policy
What’s included in terms of:- Updates and bug fixes
- Support channels and SLAs
- Version coverage (e.g., major/minor releases included?)
-
Attribution requirements
Are there any attribution requirements (e.g., logo, link, credit in UI or documentation)? -
Restrictions
Any restrictions such as:- Building editors/competing products
- Usage caps or traffic limits
- Sublicensing to our customers as part of a SaaS offering
-
If purchase is required
Please confirm:- The correct tier and price for our scenario
- Next steps for procurement (invoice, payment terms, and any company details you need from us)
If the Free tier is sufficient, please point us to the exact license text that grants commercial use for our scenario. If a paid tier is required, we’re happy to move forward once we have the EULA and pricing details.
Thanks in advance for the clarification — looking forward to your guidance.
Best regards,
