Widget pops up outside of screen

If the triggering element is too close to the side of the screen, it instantiates outside the screen. I think it might be because the images take a second to render, and then cause the width of the box to shift? But I'm not 100% sure.

I'm also seeing this same behavior. Is this library/product actively maintained anymore? I'd like to use it but can't pay for something that's abandoned.
