App startup is very slow (>15s) and window control buttons are missing on GNOME Wayland

🐞 Issues Overview

I'm experiencing two major problems when using the app on Linux:

1. Very slow startup time — the app takes more than 15 seconds to open.
2. Missing window control buttons — the minimize, maximize, and close buttons do not appear.

These issues have been occurring for a long time and still exist in the latest version.

• Flatpak: com.notesnook.Notesnook
• AppImage: Same issues occur

• OS: CachyOS (Arch-based)
• Desktop Environment: GNOME
• Session Type: Wayland
• Flatpak Version: 1.16.1

🧪 Steps to Reproduce

1. Install the app via Flatpak or run the AppImage
2. Launch the application
3. Wait for the window to appear (startup delay >15 seconds)
4. Notice that the window buttons (close, minimize, maximize) are missing
