Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We, the maintainers and contributors of multilang-python, pledge to make participation in our project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment for coding in native languages using our transpileur.

Our Standards

We expect participants to:

  • Be Respectful: Treat others with kindness and respect.
  • Be Inclusive: Use welcoming language.
  • Be Collaborative: Provide constructive feedback.
  • Be Professional: Maintain a professional tone.
  • Be Supportive: Help newcomers (see CONTRIBUTING.md).

Unacceptable behaviors include:

  • Harassment or discrimination.
  • Trolling or insults.
  • Public/private harassment.
  • Publishing private information without consent.
  • Inappropriate conduct.

Responsibilities

Maintainers:

  • Enforce this Code of Conduct fairly.
  • Address violations promptly.
  • Ensure a safe environment.

Contributors:

  • Adhere to this Code.
  • Report violations respectfully.

Scope

This applies to:

  • GitHub repository (issues, PRs, discussions).
  • Code and documentation.
  • Community interactions related to multilang-python (e.g., forums, events).

Reporting Violations

Report issues to [insert maintainer email or GitHub handle, e.g., @multilang-python-maintainers] or use GitHub’s private reporting. Reports are:

  • Confidential.
  • Reviewed impartially.
  • Addressed appropriately (e.g., warnings, bans).

Enforcement

Violations may result in:

  • Temporary/permanent removal.
  • Event restrictions.

Maintainers will:

  1. Investigate incidents.
  2. Determine responses.

  4. Document anonymized incidents.
