I created an app for Nextcloud that uses @file-viewer in order to preview a large number of files: https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/fileviewer

Nextcloud has a file browser where we can see all the files, clicking on one of them displays it thanks to @file-viewer. Here is an example: https://cloud.paul.garden/s/terry2013

It would be nice if my app could on the server ask @file-viewer to return a thumbnail for a given file, and then I could use Nextcloud APIs to set the thumbnail of the file to the one generated by @file-viewer.
