Can play type "video/mp4": maybe

When I load an .mp4 video I get this message highlighted in green:

Can play type "video/mp4": maybe

And only the audio plays. No video.

Unfortunately it is a >1 gigabyte file (I can share the link though). I was able to play a tiny file normally.
