Key Features

Hi @mnriem, thank you again for reviewing and merging the preceding Parallel Autonomous Run Governance v0.2.4 update through #3824 and PR #3825.

This backward-compatible v0.4.2 update preserves a project-declared learner and accessibility contract across Spec Kit artifacts and agent guidance.

  • Updates the existing community-catalog entry from v0.4.1 without changing the preset ID, recommended priority 40, or optional scope.
  • Adds a portable audience contract: each project declares its target audience and assumed prior knowledge.
  • Requires learning material to explain domain and technical terms at first use instead of assuming undocumented knowledge.
  • Carries the declared language order, readability target, terminology, and text-first information requirements through specifications, plans, tasks, constitutions, and agent guidance.
  • Prevents generic agent or tool defaults from weakening the accepted project-specific learner and accessibility policy.
  • Preserves WCAG 2.2 AA governance, DE-first/EN-second delivery, CEFR-B2 readability, inclusive content, accessible text/JSON status parity, deterministic labelled ordering, and didactic inline-code-comment review.
  • Preserves the preset's advisory scope: installation runs no accessibility scanner, screen-reader test, autonomous execution, or remote operation and grants no additional authority.
  • Keeps all 10 templates and 3 wrapped commands; no scripts or required extensions are introduced.
  • The learner and accessibility contract patch was reviewed and merged in the preset repository through PR Update README.md #3.
  • The exact v0.4.2 tag points to commit 37f053cad24fc23ff226ae33b743a6c3900d27a9; the downloaded GitHub tag ZIP passed archive validation with observed SHA-256 d567e09006edda98adf39d339e40adb4371c54ffa10c8f19040215ddabe72141.
  • The published manifest, MIT license, tagged README installation command, local preset matrix, and release archive were rechecked before this submission.

Maintainer feedback on the project-declared audience boundary, first-use terminology rule, text-first information contract, and community-catalog description would be appreciated. The preset remains optional, authority-neutral, and backward compatible.

Testing Checklist

  • Preset installs successfully via specify preset add
  • Template resolution works correctly after installation
  • Documentation is complete and accurate
  • Tested on at least one real project

Submission Requirements

  • Valid preset.yml manifest included
  • Linked README explains installation and includes the exact tagged specify preset add --from ... command
  • LICENSE file included
  • GitHub release created with version tag
  • Preset ID follows naming conventions
