MESH Mod Meshtastic Firmware needs update.

This morning the Meshtastic android app updated and the firmware shipped on the mesh mod is considered not secure and the app drops the connection, to the mesh mod after starting up...it has been working great this past several days.

What is the preferred method to update the boards firmware? I tried to install and flash via the CLI within the pager web UI, however shell and pip3 install --upgrade esptool caused the pager to shutoff twice even if plugged in to power during the install. I tried web flasher on bot Linux Kali and Windows 11 and the device doesn't show up within the web flasher. I do see it under windows devices and linux using lsusb.

If I can figure how to do this on the pager a payload would be ideal.

Update: I did the Pager Firmware update to 1.0.5 and ran the payload for mesh mod, it updated some items and now the Meshtastic app is seeing the full firmware version on the mesh mod and it seems to be working again. It did seem to factory reset the mesh information so that may have done it to.

I am interested in best practices for a future firmware update, however I think we can consider the issue closed as current version pager firmware, seems to have fixed my problem.
