I have tried to use this package without any luck.
Please use the react native Settings wrapper. It works for me with a switch in the settings bundle.

@swalahamani FYI: It worked for me to use the Settings api like:
Settings.get('some_custom_value_bool')
Just a note is to name the key very specific so it don't overrides some apple settings stuff.
If you don't get it to work rename the key and recompile.
