How to make persistent token?

For the self hosted setup, I cannot make a persistent token and everytime I do docker up it generates a new token.

tried this variation, secret and a few other methods using my friend Gemini, but I am still lost.
environment:
- TOKEN=${HB_TOKEN}

Very interested in project and I think the android app and self hosted combine rocks, but need this to work persistently.

Hi @a-edalat

You can set the token via an environment variable. In src/server/main.tsx:

const token = process.env.AUTH_TOKEN || randomUUID();

So if AUTH_TOKEN is defined, it will be used.

Note that this isn’t officially documented, so it may change in the future.
