SSO support or HTTP Header auth

currently the MCP server requires being setup with a static API key making it not possible to deploy in a shared manner for a full team securely.

it would be much better if it was possible to have oauth support in the MCP or credential passing via an HTTP header when in remote http streamable transport mode to allow per user auth

We are working on this, we are working on a renote harness hosted mcp that supports OAuth for customers

any updates on this for the self hosted MCP server? adding the header support would be a huge feature to unblock us
