[Bug]: D-Pad control not working on android TV when player is in fullscreen

Expected Behavior

Even in fullscreen, D-Pad controls continue to work; highlithing elements making them interactable using the TV’s remote

Actual Behavior

D-Pad controls stops working the moment the video player is fullscreened, Only working in the main UI

I don’t know if this has something to do with my streaming device (3rd gen xiaomi tv box S), D-Pad controls seems to work just fine on my 4k Google TV Chromecast

I'm experiencing the same issue on my Sony TV. The only workaround I've found is using the 'Google TV' remote app on my phone, but it's not perfect as it struggles to select certain UI elements.
