TESS is currently archived on CRAN since December: https://cran.r-project.org/package=TESS. It looks like this is due to a variety of NOTEs in the latest CRAN checks: https://cran-archive.r-project.org/web/checks/2025/2025-12-04_check_results_TESS.html.
If TESS remains archived, we will need to remove it from the Phylogenetics CRAN Task View.

Note that this has also caused dependencies of TESS to be removed from CRAN, including RPANDA.
