Output Size of properties and geometries

Do you think it should be possible to output information about the size of properties and geometries?

It should be possible to output information about the number of different attributes for example but I don't think that knowing the disk size of that information would be an easy task as some times the information is gzipped.
Do you think knowing the uncompressed size would be enough?

Yes. I was thinking mainly about uncompressed size.

My use case it optimize tiles having the possibility to change how tiles are built.
