You made my day. VPX is now properly configured at startup and, most importantly, on restart! So, a huge thank you!

Do you think it would also be possible to make it work with Future Pinball? It seems that all the settings are located here:

It's the same issue as with VPX, it doesn't switch on startup or restart.

At PC startup, it still works perfectly, but Future Pinball doesn't work on restart.
The playfield appears on a different screen (the full DMD in my case).

I'll fire up FP later today and do some testing to see what's going on. This release was a quick stab at it.

It appears to be working on my cab. At first it seemed like it was reverting my settings. I may have had backbox set wrong and it was making changes on its own. not completely sure right now.

Try this build. add a --log to the startup script and it will create a log file in the same folder. maybe we can get an idea of what's going on.

I've been fighting the AV problem with this. It's unhappy that the program is modifying registry and ini files but once I submit new builds to AV vendors they seem happy with it.

Sorry we're having trouble with this. I did submit build 1.3 to MS defender and its scanning and updating it's definitions. Not sure how long it takes really.

I created an exception on my cab for this executable. I realize it's not ideal to suggest doing that but if you're wanting to try to debug this it may be faster.

Ok, thanks! I downloaded the file without any issues. Everything works fine when the PC starts up, but unfortunately, Future Pinball is still bugging.

The table is displaying on my backglass.

I have to manually validate the displays for it to work, so there must be another parameter lingering somewhere...

I created two logs: one at startup and one after a reboot. I also recorded a video to show you Future Pinball's strange behavior when going into the video settings after the reboot. Hopefully, this will help you. THX!

Thanks for sending the logs. My setup is almost identical to yours. LGC3, full dmd and backglass.

This is on reboot.

It's what I had assumed was happening. When my FP settings had backbox and playfield the same the FP BAM would do weird things and put the playfield on the BG even though I manually told it which display to use.

I think I'll add a parameter for the backbox resolution and we can set that field too. I'm just not sure how that will behave if you have the same resolution for both Full DMD and BG. You are ok because they are different and that might be the best solution for now.

I'll work on a new build in a little bit today and we can see how it goes.

I published a new release that adds a lot of features around FP. setting backbox res/name etc. Eager to hear if this resolves any issues.
