I wanted to dissuade the usage of Mending, so by making it cost more, players would be incentivized to sacrifice it in favor of unbreaking and more enchants.
The best way to implement this is probably to add an "override enchant cost" in the config with a list of enchants. Maybe for QOL, add a tooltip to the enchanted book noting their cost.
OR...
I would personally like an overhaul so the limit is based on "points" which scale based on the enchant's level.
I -> 1 point
II -> 2 points
III -> 4 points
IV -> 8 points
etc.
Enchants like Mending could be scaled to be pretty high (maybe 16?) compared to just Unbreaking III (4 points).
This idea was sorta from Green_jab. It'll be cool but harder to balance.
If you're busy, I looked over the codebase and it (maybe?) shouldn't be too bad to implement the first idea and make a pull request.
