Need "Go to Symbol in Workspace" feature

There’s something, the feature may just working on linux. It use “head” to limit the “global” results to no more than 300 lines.If not, it could not get the results, I don’t known the reason yet. And in Windows it may lacks of “head”.

I'd like to know when will this feature be involved in the release build so that I do not need to build my private extension from the source code and be able to sync it use vscode setting sync.
