Have you looked at other similar projects?

What I know there is

• http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/scripteclipse - commercial by Michael Bartl
  I tried to talk with him a year ago for at least making his APIs public, or opening JS part. He said he had enough of open source before (contributing to Python language itself) and now just needs some income for family to pay rent etc.
• also there is similar open source but with Groovy language http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/eclipse-grovy-repl-scripting-environment But it gets bundled with other stuff. Author seems self-driven (Though I have not tried much)
