MOSFET N pins numbering

I am a bit confused about pins numbering for MOSFET N in your file:

kicad-library/libs/MOSFET-N.lib

From various datasheets I have worked with, I have always found that:

Gate is pin 1
Drain is pin 2
Source is pin 3

It looks like on your MOSFET-N you use the opposite, i.e. Drain is pin 3 and Source is pin 2. Or am I wrong? Can this be non standart and association (2-3) to (Drain-Source) be dependant on each specific component?

(for example, do you agree that pins 2 and 3 are Drain and Source in this datasheet:

Unfortunately MOSFET pin numbering is not standard.

That's why I created MOSFET-N-123.lib and MOSFET-N-134.lib to help out with this.

Moving forward with this library I might be leaning more towards one part, one lib, one mod style similar to what Digikey has done: https://www.digikey.com/en/news/press-releases/2017/aug/digi-key-adds-kicad-pcb-model-download Then there is no confusion or mistakes with pin numbering like this.

Super, thank you for confirmation. Funny, I had only met MOSFET with the pins config I refer to. Still a lot to learn...
