Custom color for ui and custom background not showing up

It's broken. To reproduce, just try to tweak the colors in styles.

I'm using Chrome, and I just started using this extension today. Oh, I have to add, the color pickers are opening, they just aren't working.

It's strange how non work. I have a few more questions if I may, so I can try to figure out where it's going wrong.

1. Does the colour value change in the colour picker when you choose a colour?
2. When you reopen the RE settings, does it restore that colour you chose?
3. Is it just not applying the colours to the reddit page?
4. Have you refreshed the reddit page since installing the extension, and then tried changing the colours?

I think it's just not applying the colors to the page. Yes, I have tried refreshing multiple times, still doesn't work.
