Fabric API keep updated to the latest version which conflict with current mods

How do I make the mod use Fabric-API to 0.63 only and prevent it to update to 0.64? Somehow put the 0.63 jar in mod-local folder doesn't do anything and the mod keep updating it.

You need to remove Fabric API in the settings in mod menu
