Question / Idea

I’m exploring the possibility of integrating AI-driven security testing and automation workflows into ReadyAPI. The goal is to enhance automated API testing by combining AI analysis, security payload datasets, and dynamic vulnerability discovery.

Background

I am currently working on building an AI-assisted bug bounty and security testing platform that can:

• Automatically generate and test API payloads

• Use large vulnerability datasets (similar to payload collections used in bug bounty testing)

• Integrate with security tools such as those commonly used in Kali Linux

• Perform dynamic analysis on API responses

• Detect potential vulnerabilities like:

  • Injection attacks
  • Authentication bypass
  • Misconfigured endpoints
  • Data exposure

Idea

The concept is to extend ReadyAPI workflows with:

2. Automated vulnerability testing pipelines
3. Dataset-driven fuzzing

1. Does ReadyAPI currently support plugin or extension mechanisms that could allow AI-based automation modules?
