I'm using the detached window (PiP mode) in Chrome/Chromium/Brave browsers and in all of them when you finish resizing PiP window by releasing mouse button, the canvas does not stop resizing, making it deformed as it still follows the mouse cursor specifically when using the lower corner handle to resize, no matter which side I start resizing.
One has to disable PiP mode, stop the resizing event, fix the window size and enter PiP again to fix the sizing issue.
