Skills input and skill selection buttons are not functioning

The skills section is not responding to user interactions.

Expected Behavior

• Clicking on a skill button/tag should select or add the skill.
• Typing a skill in the input field and pressing Enter should add the skill successfully.

Actual Behavior

• Clicking the predefined skill buttons does nothing.
• Entering a skill and pressing Enter produces no response or visible update.

I would like to work on fixing this issue.

I would like to work on this issue under GSSoC 2026.

I have reviewed the bug description and understand that the predefined skill buttons are not responding to clicks, and the input field is not adding skills when Enter is pressed. I would be happy to investigate the event handling logic and implement a fix.
