Taking long time to start

Its taking long time around 15 seconds to start songs.

What url? Or is it a local audio file? And how big is the file? And what device?

This module is very old now. I have a newer version (for Android too) which I'll push up soon. (Possibly in a different repo)

Hi, This is for remote URL http://www.revelbeats.com/assets/audio/Salsa/Dj_Norty_Cotto%20_Salsa_Throwback.mp3 File size also big. around 30 mins songs. Can you please send me your new module so I can test . Thanks

My newer module does not change how the iOS AVPlayer loads urls.

I think the issue might be caused by the configuration of the server being used to deliver this mp3. (It took a very long time to load even in a browser)
