Our current test both fixed and moving images are isotropic (voxel size [1, 1, 1]). So we don't know if the physical resolution parameter is being used correctly by the registration steps. To test this, I'd make a variant of test data where fixed image has voxel size [0.5, 1, 1] and moving image has voxel size [2, 1, 1].
