Add license information

Hello!

I found this amazing project from various repositories and guides.

Could you please add information about the license of this repository — is it allowed to copy, change and use the code and documentation in any purpose?
It would be great to see any popular open source license.

I see some forks and contributors — a FOSS license will do their contribution legal.

I'm not a project contributor, but I've had the same doubts about the licensing. Digging into the source-archives (Markus/ComponentTester-1.55m.tgz/README), the author of the archive (Markus Reschke) states:

The original author hasn't provided any information about the licence under
which the firmware is distributed. He only stated that it's open source and
any commercial user should contact him. Unfortunately we (Karl-Heinz and I)
haven't found any way to contact him. To remedy this problem I've chosen an
open source license at 2016-01-01, after giving the original author more than
sufficient time to tell us his wishes regarding the license. Since the source
code of this firmware version is a major rewrite with tons of new code and
features, I think that this approach is justified.
