1- windows.plugin.keepScreenOn();
or only
2- keepScreenOn();?

I know its tool old post but it will help others.
Usually plugins can be accessed as the coblers value specified in plugin.xml file concatinated with the variable name exported.
plugin.xml :

keepScreenOn.js

var keepScreenOn = {
CancelKeepScreenOn: function () {
cordova.exec(null, null, "KeepScreenOn", "CancelKeepScreenOn", [""]);
},

**KeepScreenOn: function () {
