Hello,

I clean installed Deepin 25 last night, today morning I thought I'd test the Treeland, experimental feature.
I reboot and i am presented with the treeland login screen, I enter the password and hit enter nothing happens, I click the eye icon to see if the password is entered right, password is correct, I click on the arrow icon to login, nothing happens system not logging me in.

Now I am stuck !!!

Ctrl+Alt+(F1 to F12) not dropping to the tty shell, does Treeland not support tty ?

What is the way forward for me ?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE | 复现步骤

1. Open settings, enable treeland experimental feature
2. Reboot
3. Login screen, enter password.
4. nothing happening the login screen does not proceed further

OBSERVED RESULT | 观察到的结果

1. NO LOGIN
2. Clicking on the eye icon shows the correct password - no issues with password.
3. Clicking on the right bottom profile icon shows the users and allows to choose the username to login but none of the users login on entering the password.
4. Clicking on the Power button on the bottom right shows plane screen without any options(reboot, hibernate, sleep, etc) as its supposed to.

NOTE : IF YOU WANT US TO TEST TREELAND DEVELOPMENT THEN IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE ON OPTION ON THE TREELAND LOGIN SCREEN WHERE WE CAN CHOOSE THE OPTION TO LOGIN TO THE NORMAL SESSION WHEN WE ENCOUNTER SUCH ISSUES

Please try rebooting. The GRUB interface should have a system restore option, select an older system snapshot.

Alternatively, reboot to see if switching to tty functionality restores the system. If possible, execute: sudo systemctl enable lightdm.service -f

@wineee ... thanks for looking into this thread,
I have so far not come across any entries besides the typical linux's older kernel entries in the grub advanced menu, the infected system is a clean and fresh install where I have installed v25 not v25.0.10 ... and updated to the latest updates ...

If the updates that i have run has created a restore point then help me locate it and restore it to that point.

that's part of the issue if you've noticed that the treeland login screen isn't allowing me to drop to the tty shell, I tried catching the tty shell during the splash(booting screen) phase, and i did catch it, but the time i entered the username and password the treeland login screen pulled me out of the tty shell, any attempts to get back from the login screen has been futile.

currently i am in the live session of v25 from my ventoy boot disk, @wineee ... If you can assist me to run this command as chroot or by some other mechanism from this live session into my installed partition I am all ears and waiting !

I'm sorry, Deepin 25's partition mounting is rather unique, and I'm not familiar with the details.

If there's no important data, you might consider reinstalling the system.
