new filtered view not selecting top item

The commit 11df68c introduced a nice filtered view but currently the top result doesnt automatically select so you cant click enter to enter it like it worked before which really worsens the navigation

Steps to reproduce

type in the view and the top result doesnt get selected

Expected behavior

for the top result to get automatically selected so you can enter it

Additional information

the new filter view is nice but this missing really worsens the navigation

Down-arrow should select the first item reliably, but yeah it's probably best to just select the first item automatically when using this.
