Thanks for providing zephcore builds now!
I see two issues with the latest build:

1. When cold starting the device the screen looks scrambled and the device is not usable. It only boots into a usable state after reboot via reset button.

2. RX/TX is significant lower than with upstream (arduino) build. About 10 db less.

After more testing there is a possibility that the rx/tx issue is not related to zeph vs vanilla but due to differences in devices (allthough the hardware is equal).

I have done some more testing on this. This time using the same device for both vanilla and zephcore. When tracing my repeater with vanilla i had an everage SNR of 12/12 after i flashed to zephcore i ended up with an everage SNR of 10/8.

Is it possible that rxgain is turned off? Just a wild guess...

EDIT: what i also encountered is that noisefloor is about 2-4 db lower on zephcore compared to vanilla.

I have seen this fix: Repeater first-boot and firmware-upgrade now correctly default radio.rxgain and rxduty to ON for SX1262 boards

Unfortunately it did not improve the situation on my companion.

Yay! it looks like the RX issue is fixed in 360b3b5 👍

The issue with the scrambled screen after power on remains...
