Because khard is based on click (and that was a smart decision), one just have to follow https://click.palletsprojects.com/en/latest/shell-completion/#shell-completion.

Hmm, except it doesn’t work and _KHARD_COMPLETE=fish_source khard generates dump of my address book instead. Any ideas what’s wrong?

khard does not use click.
