Support for higher resolution images

Hey,

I have been testing this model and it seems to work really well, but the issue is it downscales the image to 800x800 pixels. Can you suggest a way we can keep the original resolution of the image? If not possible with this model, could you please provide a guide?

Hi @rishh-hub. I'm glad you're finding this model useful.

The model does not downscale an image, but the maximum size of a patch for inpainting with this model, as configured, is 800x800 pixels. You can change that size by modifying the value at

CoreMLaMa/convert_lama.py

. Note that if you increase the size of the mask, the memory requirement of the model will be increased.

Hey @mallman , thank you for your reply. I tried changing the size to (2048, 2048) and it did change the input and output resolutions of the images along with the mask when I see the details of the model, but somehow it still gives error while processing an image with 2048x2048 resolution. I checked the requirement in code using the line
let inputDescription = lama.model.modelDescription.inputDescriptionsByName["image"]
and this still shows 800x800. Do you know what could be the issue here?
