Getting the following error when installing the library

which also offers Image comparisons?
It just has some more dependencies as it offers more features - but maybe it's a workaround in the meantime.

pkgutil.ImpImporter is obsolete, because it was removed in Python 3.12 as part of the deprecation of the old import system.
This change is related to the deprecation of the imp module in favor of importlib and the modernization of Python’s import system.
It is recommended to replace pkgutil.ImpImporter with the modern importlib equivalent.

To make the library installable it's sufficient to change line 14 in pyproject.toml:
replace python = ">=3.8,<3.12" by python = ">=3.8,<3.14"
