Xtext: opening generated editor in a new tab breaks it

When generating an editor from a grammar, that editor can currently only be used from within the same browser tab. Opening the generated link in a new browser tab breaks things: the platform shows the correct configuration of panels, but the Xtext editor panel is not associated with correct grammar information -- there's no highlighting and no code completion.
