I honestly have 0 clue how any of sphinx works so hopefully maybe I'll be able to come up with something that works a little bit better than the nothing I have for that section so far.

github says I posted this issue "an hour ago". Turns out that was enough to get it most of the way done. Only minor editing left to do now.
