Following our charter for the Microcks Steering Committee (SC), we are excited to announce the appointment of the first three SC members.
This move is a strategic milestone in Microcks' commitment to sustainable growth. By formalizing this body, we aim to better recognize the voice of our adopters and ensure their direct involvement in the project's strategic orientation.
🏛️ Role and Governance
The Steering Committee is designed to be a functional component of our governance. As the SC integrates into our workflow, project guidelines and documentation will be updated to reflect this new oversight layer.
The primary objectives for the SC include:
- Strategic Oversight: Aligning the project roadmap with community and industry needs.
- Sustainability: Ensuring the long-term health and neutrality of the project.
- Adopter Representation: Providing a formal channel for high-scale users to influence development.

To maintain our commitment to open governance, all SC activities will be tracked publicly. This issue (and subsequent linked discussions) will serve as the record for:
- Meeting Notes & Minutes from SC calls.
