Timeline Storyteller only shows the data names in Power BI Desktop

Trying Timeline Storyteller out for the first time in Power BI Desktop with a basic Excel file. I get the data, import Timeline Storyteller, and add it to my visual area. When I drag any data over into the Fields (e.g. Dates into Start Date, etc.), the Data names only appear in the visual and no graphics as I've seen in demo videos. Each time I add to a new Field, the name of data just get appended in the visual... again with no graphics.

I also do not see the side and top items that appear in demos when dragging data into Fields.

I'm using v2.83.5894.661 64-bit (July 2020).

Has others seen this and know if this is an issue or I'm doing something wrong?

I am having the same issue! I thought it was just an issue with July 2020, but it wasn't fixed in the August 2020 version either. Please help!
