Release storm as steam game-starter

I've seen that there is a mod loader for terraria as an own downloadable and startable entity on steam.
I'd like to have something similar for Project Zomboid - storm.

I've tried to start with this task, but there is a little bit of problem. I need to create a Steamworks account, which makes me pay 100$ entry fee.
This feature is frozen until I have more money or can fund it any other way.

have a look at RaftModLoader https://www.raftmodding.com/ - It acts as an tool to receive mod download command from raftmodding homepage and installs the mods in the specific folder. Then it tells the user to start Raft via steam / desktop icon. Inside Raft you then enable installed mods. Maybe this could be helpful

  Later I can let the user add it as an external app - but there is one caveat. I still need to access steam api to find the installation folder of PZ
