After today's update I am unable to open the web UI for the MCP tester
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Just try to open the UI as documented on the wiki:
npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector
Error running MCP Inspector: Cannot find native binding. npm has a bug related to optional dependencies (npm/cli#4828). Please try npm i again after removing both package-lock.json and node_modules directory.
node --version
v25.9.0
npm --version
11.12.1
Before today's update it was working good. Already tried multiple node versions and all of them fail.
Expected behavior
Should open the MCP tester web UI
