Right now if I visit a blog like David's which has the plugin installed and I want to have something like that as well in my own blog, I will need to figure it out. Maybe go to the source code and dig out something that tells me how is that implemented.
I suggest there's a little link under the 'bell' icon that links to the plugin page so it's easier for other people to get this plugin as well--a bit like the "Proudly powered by WordPress" link tells people how to get a blog too.
