Android OS update (Not really an issue.)

Just wondering if you have seen the following.

Also note that on the CITAQ website they describe the h10 as being able to use android 8 and above and also Linux although nothing is specified regarding the Linux distro etc...

Whilst the SOC in some models can run much higher versions of android, from the limited information online that isnt already here, the apparent issue is that the lcd/gpu runs a custom driver that is embedded in the kernal. I have just started tinkering with two of these units and am trying to dump a decent copy of the firmware from mine so i can have a poke around with the intention of updating to a newer android version or ideally armbian/ubuntu
