Table Hierarchy Group Selection Mode

Currently selection with hierarchy does not have hierarchy group selection behavior (each item in hierarchy is individually selectable).

The channel selector table implemented in the application layer a custom selection behavior to emulate grouping (azdo pr).

Should consider if this is valuable as a first class table behavior

Some historical context if we pursue this:

• it was discussed in Data hierarchy hld #1567. I didn't summarize the whole conversation but it seems like it was mostly skipped since we weren't sure of the right API.
• as mentioned in the data hierarchy HLD this would be related to Table hierarchical data leaf mode #1759
