Hi! I came across this issue due to the cuSpatial mention (I work on various RAPIDS projects). Seems like a cool project!

I saw you're using functionality from XGBoost, scikit-learn, umap, pandas, SHAP, and other libraries, all of which can be GPU-accelerated.

If you do explore this path, please let me know if you hit any missing functionality or the user experience is challenging for your codebase/development process. Would love to learn more.

Hi Nick, thanks - likewise RAPIDS looks very promising.
Indeed .. I'm just waiting for the RAPIDS python 3.12 supported version to move a bunch of code to GPU.
Any idea of the timing on the horizon ?

We plan to add support for Python 3.12 and drop support for Python 3.9 beginning with the v24.10 release currently scheduled for early October.
