A random, almost unrelated thought I had while talking about it:

So, in summary, solo streamers usually use the source monitoring featore to hear stream
alerts from the browser source, and the audio of media files and video capture devices, on
their computers without auxiliary audio interfaces (and that in principle doesn't produce
feedback loop)
