Keyboard shortcuts?

I love your app, but I have a pretty big issue with only having Spacebar as a keyboard shortcut. I feel like you for sure used to have additional ones that were removed. I even forked my own copy and tried to apply some, which I was unable to reliably accomplish. Were you experiencing something similar? Most of the time it just seems to ignore them, occasionally a few will work but then just stop without me doing anything different. It is a much needed QOL to at least be able to seek around and skip.

Yes I want shortcuts too but it's not that easy.
Even with just that space bar shortcut I constantly run into issues where some UI element grabs focus and hitting space toggles that UI element instead of toggling playback. It's really annoying. Presumably this is what you've experienced.

Perhaps shortcuts can be implemented by just listening to raw key events but than you'd start triggering shortcuts when the user is typing in a text field which also sucks.
I did remove the few shortcuts I had because of how unreliable it was.

Right now I have no good solution and it's in the backlog. I'd also prefer to have configurable shortcuts instead hard-coded ones but that makes the problem even harder.

If you're using the external player you can just use mpv shortcuts to skip and seek but with the embedded one it's currently not possible.

Check the latest pull request. I also ran into issues with the shortcuts firing when inputting text, but was able to fix that in the end.
