Network Settings Not Saving

VBoxVmService is reverting my VM network adapter. If I edit the VM network adapter in Oracle VM VirtualBox, click "OK", exit Virtual Box, start VBoxVmService, and start my VM, it is using the previous network adapter. I can shut down the VM, exit VBoxVmService, open VirtualBox and check the VM setting and they will be back to what they were previously.

Same here on the 7.0 version. In Oracle VM Virtualbox i set the netwerkadapter to 'NAT' and can run the machine with no problem. After i close Oracle VM Virtualbox and start the machine headless with VBoxVMService, the adapter reverts back to "Bridged Adapter". All my port forwards are gone too.
