Open Authenticator retains master password after uninstall/reinstall

I'm currently testing Open Authenticator on Windows and noticed an unexpected behavior.
After uninstalling the application and reinstalling it, the app still requires the original master password. It seems that some data is being preserved across uninstallations.
This creates a problem: if a user forgets his master password, reinstalling the application does not allow them to start from scratch.
I did not see anything relevant in %AppData%. I used Procmon to track the software’s activity, but I still have no clue.
Any ideas?

Yes. It's because Open Authenticator stores the master password in the user's credential set using simple_secure_storage. These credentials are user dependent, not software dependent. It may be possible to register something like an uninstall hook, but I'm not even sure about that.
