[Bug]: fix the frontend setup in readme

In the README file, it should be npm run dev instead of npm start since the projects is migrated to vitte + react.

I’m Param Kanada, an active open-source contributor, and I’m targeting the LFX Fall 2026 mentorship term. I would love to start contributing to the open mainframe.
Previously, I’ve been a core contributor with the Alaska organization for GSoC, where I merged over 60+ PRs working on a language-agnostic library for closed-loop simulation systems as well as building their web-based graph editor UI.

I’m looking forward to getting involved in the community and will start actively contributing to the repo. If you have any current pain points in issues or docs, feel free to let me know, I will happily work on it.
Curious to know which projects are being more focused for lfx fall 2026 by the organisation

Regarding this bug, the only place in the documentation where npm start is used is for the backend: https://github.com/openmainframeproject/software-discovery-tool/blob/master/docs/Installation.md#step-6-verify-that-the-software-discovery-tool-server-is-up-and-running

The Vite frontend is documented as being launched with npm run dev : https://github.com/openmainframeproject/software-discovery-tool/blob/master/docs/Installation.md#start-the-react-frontend-application

However, I will note that since I am doing development in a virtual machine environment (rather than a container) I've had to run it in a way that exposes it outside of the VM, so I use npm run dev -- --host

Hi @pleia2, that's right! it is npm run dev in installation docs.

but, the steps to setup in readme still has npm start, will be happy to raise a small pr to fix that if you want :)

It will be a big help if I could know where to find out the project ideas that organisation is focusing more on for LFX fall 2026 so I can create proposals and review it with the mentors as soon as possible
