[BUG] Missing input validation for Extra Fields with type NUMBER

What happened?

For an "Extra Field" with the type "NUMBER" a non-numerical value can be entered and saved and would later be displayed as "NaN".

This should be avoided in the first place by input validation which should allow only numeric values.
